The objects of the Society are:

(a) To become and remain registered with the Guild.

(b) To further the interests of enrolled students.

(c) To assist new students with orientation to the University.

(d) To encourage and promote cooperation between the Society and other Student societies.

(e) To do all things that are necessary and proper for the benefit and advancement of the Society and the Guild.

(f) To foster exposure and greater awareness in anaesthetics and acute care medicine both as a career and lifestyle

(g) To educate students about the pathways into anaesthetics, intensive care and emergency medicine

(h) To provide networking opportunities for students interested in critical care for mentorship and career development

(i) To offer a forum for members to provide feedback on student issues relating to acute care medicine, now and into the future

(j) To bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world clinical application to ensure better equipped medical graduates

(k) To cultivate leadership, initiative and collaboration within Curtin’s medical community
